Good friends – and a special offer

June 21: Father’s Day
We have been a bit surprised about the lack of fuss around Father’s Day here, compared with Mother’s Day. In Argentina and New Zealand we celebrate both days equally (it would be unfair otherwise, wouldn’t it?) and all the family gets together for a meal.
Although our fathers are not here to celebrate with us, we will share the tradition with you in the right way! We are going to host a real three course Argentinean barbecue from 12pm on Sunday 21 June.
This offer is exclusive to members of our community, therefore, you must pre-book because we have to order in all the yummy Argentinean food: provoleta cheese (served warm and melted), chorizo served in warm bread with chimichurri sauce, Argentinean rib-eye steak, salad and fries, followed by delicious home made dulce de leche ice-cream.
The barbecue will cost £22.50 per person (£10 for kids under 10).

Hi Miriam,
I sometimes also make a dark chocolate almond cake which is gluten free.
For breakfast we could also do any of our egg dishes, and as I don't have any gluten free bread, if you would like to bring in a couple of slices of your own I would be happy to toast it up for you.
Otherwise we also have a home made (sugar free) muesli which has no wheat, but does have oats. Are you able to eat those?
Other possibilities would be the warm winter salad, which has roasted vegetables, lentils and goats cheese. For other customers we have done the chicken club, steak sandwich or kiwi burger (which is home made and gluten free) without the bread. Each of these is served with fries (which I think would be ok?) and a side salad.
In the evening there are many options: for example, you could try the salmon with pistacchio and mint crust served with broccoli, or the steak with mash or we could substitute an alternative.
