Valentine's Day Menu

Valentine's day set menu – includes three courses, bubbly and hor d'oeuvres on arrival, palate cleanser, coffee or tea and handmade truffles*

£42.50 per person + a 12.5% discretionary service charge will be added to your bill.

In order to confirm your booking we require a deposit of £42.50. If the booking is cancelled before 5pm on 11 February the deposit will be refunded in full. Otherwise it is not refundable.

Bookings before 6:30pm will receive 50% off any one bottle of wine or sparkling wine.

Given that there is a big demand by romantic couples who would like to dine at Lola & Simón on this evening, we respectfully request the table back after 2.5 hours for another couple.

Starter

  • Jeruselum artichoke soup garnished with truffle oil, sage and parmesan crouton

  • Argentinean platter for two to share: empanadas filled with ribeye and provaleta cheese or mozzarella, tomato and basil, mushroom risotto balls, hot provaleta cheese on sourdough toast and marinated olives

  • Asparagus and hot goat's cheese with honey dressing

  • Pan seared prawns with avocado salsa, rocket and coriander salad and citrus dressing
    A palate cleansing apple granite will be served

 
Main Course
  • Argentinean ribeye with roasted garlic mash and Malbec beef jus

  • Pan roasted chicken supreme with creamy potato dauphinoise and wilted baby spinach

  • Slow cooked New Zealand lamb served with home made black pepper noquis, baby carrots and braising juices

  • Pan fried sea bass fillet served on a walnut, herb, lentil tabbouleh with a pomegranate molasses dressing

  • Eggplant and ratatouille terrine served with hummus and a rocket salad

 
Desserts

  • Dark chocolate fondue pot with dipping fruits to share

  • Passionfruit panna cotta with shortbread

  • Home made lemon and marscapone ice cream with pistachios and mint

  • Warm ginger cake with dulce de leche sauce and home made vanilla ice cream
